But the industry also needs sales people. Attend this workshop to learn the basics of selling solar energy systems and the reasons why people buy these systems. Learn how to talk to customers on the phone, how to sort customers, how to ask for the deal and listen to the customer. Learn how to develop a proposal and set goals. During class you will develop proposals for various sized solar energy systems, put together presentations for prospective customers and look at various marketing techniques. Location: BRCMaterials Needed: Bring your laptop, a blank CD or flash drive and portable printer and paper to class so you can take home finished proposals and presentations. Bring photos of your installations, certificates and endorsements related to your business.
