New York is stepping up to the commitment of getting 750,000 EV’s (electric vehicles) on the road by 2025. Sustainable Hudson Valley is building an education and outreach partnership to empower consumers to learn more about electric vehicles. Sustainable Hudson Valley is working towards reducing dealer marketing costs and making sure that communities are well prepared for scaled up EV use with chargers and information about how to find them.
With support from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), Drive Electric Hudson Valley provides:
consumer education through workshops and the media,
group purchases and discounts,
car dealer training and mentoring,
and help for communities with infrastructure planning and municipal procurement.
